If you need to de-clutter, this house should inspire you to fling things while there's still a chance. Looking at the pics, I want to take a vow of poverty or something. It may be too late for these people because they're running out of room for all their crap. Heaven help them if there's ever an earthquake in their area.

I created this song on the Wesley Willis Song Generator. Scroll to the bottom of the page to make your own Wesley Willis songs. Apparently, he is a real person who sells real albums -- unbelieveable.

Meg has the code up for putting an image from her free square gallery on your blog. I noticed that many of them are excellent for a Valentine's Day theme. You need her pretty squares! Thank you, meg. :)

Pamibe is going down her blogroll, so I thought I'd do the same.

Brykmantra found engrish.com, a hilarious site full of bad English -- mostly from Japan. This shirt was one of my favorite things I saw on there so far. There's way too much bad English in Japan, LOL.

Found a great link on a post about An Angry Reader on Note-It Posts' great site to What if Howard Dean Was a Muppet -- priceless.

Lee bought Danger Girl a bonkabed. I think it's living up to its name.

Tom Alday (a fellow member of the vast right-wing conspiracy) points out that Patrick Stewart is a halfwit who is not actually interested in going where no one has gone before. I'm sad because I've always had a crush on that bald head of his -- probably his accent.

That's it for now, folks -- more in the future -- possibly. I might need to get something done today besides blogging and reading blogs...

I haven't been writing anything personal for awhile, and that did just happen to be the whole point of this blog. Actually, most of the time I don't think I really have a point. Or at least I can't decide on just one. OK, I guess this is a work in progress and my blog is evolving. Yeah, that sounds plausible.

So about this morning -- I got up and made Scott a sandwich this morning and went to hang the bag on the doorknob (traditional method for making sure the lunch gets remembered) and there was already a lunch there. Scott was sweet to make his own lunch, but he forgot to tell me. So I could have stayed in bed. Oh well, I think Jason took it for his lunch, so the effort wasn't wasted.

Scott was taking Jason to work today, but they ended up coming back as he couldn't get out to the main road. I thought I could hear his Suburban up the road making a valiant effort, so I wasn't surprised to see them come back. He couldn't find his snow chains, so he ended up taking my van. I guess the front-wheel drive made it, because he didn't come back.

Ian and Christopher are out playing in the slush. Nevermind, Ian is out playing in the slush. Christopher came back in because Ian was throwing "snowballs" (slushballs, actually) at his face. Now Ian is back inside and they're fighting. Everyone got up early this morning. I'm so lucky not to have to be alone with my thoughts. :P

Cassandra and Mark moved out on Saturday. We got them groceries and stuff to help them get started. Then Mark lost his job because he was a temp and hurt his bad knee -- so they dropped him. So they've been out job hunting this week. I sure hope that things will work out for them. We can't afford to help them much more, and I really don't want them to end up back here -- as much as I love them. OK, well Cassandra just called and said he's starting work at some distribution center. I hope it will be a permanent job for him.

I would like nothing more than to soak in a hot bath right now, but I have to do some laundry so that I can put on some clean clothes when I get out. I feel so lazy/gross in my nightgown and robe in the daytime. I suppose that's a good thing, because it means that I'm in the habit of getting dressed first thing in the morning -- even if I do end up crawling back into bed until 11 am. At least if someone comes over, I can look like I was up. ;)

Oh, and Dr. S. really helped me out the other day. After we got some groceries, helped Cassandra and Mark and paid our bills, I didn't really have enough money to get my prescription. I didn't want to, but I thought I'd call Dr. S. and ask if I could get 2 weeks' worth of Lexapro samples. He gave me 7 weeks worth! What a nice guy. That will really help, and will save me about $120. I definitely need to send him a thank you card.

I'm not really sure what inspired me to make this graphic, but I saw a show recently on the History Channel about the Kennedy family that really influenced me as well. Teddy said there must be a curse on the family. Well, I don't know about that, but if there is a curse on him, it would seem to be self-inflicted. I almost feel sorry for him -- almost. But he makes it so hard -- especially when I can actually understand the words he's spewing.

I say old thing, I haven't done a review of anything in a long time, but dash it all, I have to review this because it's a jolly good classic. Wodehouse Playhouse is an excellent English TV series from the mid-70's based on P.G. Wodehouse's stories, and 6/7 of the episodes are "the tree upon which the fruit of my love hangs." (however, the Minna Nordstrom episode fails to qualify) Before receiving this series, I had already collected all the Jeeves and Wooster series. I hadn't expected this one to be quite as good, but I actually find that I watch it even more often. As a matter of fact, I probably watch this one the most of all the DVD's we own. John Alderton and Pauline Collins are excellent actors and play the different characters swimmingly. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves British comedy. There are also 2 other seasons out on DVD that I'm looking forward to getting. If they're anywhere near as good as this season, I know I will love them. Toodle-pip!

I think our culture is circling the bowl. I didn't have the desire to watch the Super Bowl or the halftime show, but I did read about it on WorldNetDaily and I saw the picture of Justin Timberlake, Janet Jackson and her boob on Drudge. I guess she's afraid of being an old has-been, so she's trying to outdo the other pop tarts. I'm sure the whole disgusting display was planned, otherwise why the pastie?

Please forgive my assault on your eyeballs and try not to vomit on your keyboard. The background is only temporary. I know I have the color scheme that's loved and adored by 4-year-old girls everywhere, but I had to have it. I had to do this. It's almost Valentine's Day, and I have few excuses as good as this to play with the pretty colors. So come back next month if it bothers you too much. ;)

Overheard the other night from an employee at Dollar Tree: "Well, all three-a my kids has got their tongues pierced." It was all I could do to hold my tongue. I hope she's not holding her breath for that Mother of the Year award.
